Getting Started with Florida Tech University Online
Florida Institute of Technology's Office of Online Learning has been approved by the Florida State Approving Agency to certify eligible veterans, dependents, and active duty service members to receive Montgomery GI Bill Benefits and Post 9/11 GI Bill Benefits under the Department of Veterans' Affairs.

Requesting Documents
To obtain a free copy of your DD214 click here. This is an important document so it best to keep it safeguarded. You can also contact someone in your unit for collecting important military documents.
Verifying Attendance
Chapters 30, 1606 and 1607 need to verify their attendance monthly to receive their benefits. The WAVE verification can be done here or by calling the automated verification line at 877-823-2378.
Payment Rates and Tuition
The following time status applies to the 8 week terms for undergraduate and graduate students. The VA is the final authority in approving time status levels based on the number of credit hours completed in an accelerated term.

*Please note graduate students are required to complete two terms at half-time status before becoming full-time students.

Tuition Assistance
Active Duty students utilizing their Tuition Assistance need to send their authorization forms to the University Alliance Billing Department via their secure eFax line 1-800-497-3405. Active Duty ARMY students can request Tuition assistance through the GoArmyEd Portal. Click here
Vocational Rehabilitation
Chapter 31 students that have utilizing their vocation rehabilitation benefits in the past can have their case manager send the certifying official a copy of their VA Form 28-1905 via fax at 321-674-8216. They will, in turn, notify billing that an invoice is being requested and they will promptly send an invoice to the case manager for processing of benefits.
