Turnitin - Academic Dishonesty

Recognized worldwide as the standard in Plagiarism Prevention. Turnitin instantly identifies papers containing unoriginal material and acts as a powerful deterrent to stop student plagiarism before it starts.  For set up and support, please contact Chris Durie at cdurie@fit.edu. For in-depth instructions, please refer to the Turnitin - Feedback Studio document.

If you see or suspect anything that you believe to be academic dishonesty, please report it immediately to the department at academicintegrity@fit.edu. After receipt of the email, a staff member will perform research on the issue and then communicate that information to both you and the chair of the program. The chair will then be in contact with you to discuss the situation more fully before making a decision.

We want our students to perform the best possible in their respective programs and it is only fair that those students who do commit academic dishonesty are properly dealt with by the department for the benefit of the program as a whole.
